A Bikram Yoga class comprises a series of twenty-six postures and two breathing exercises, performed in a room heated to 40°c. It is a scientifically devised series of hatha yoga postures designed by Bikram Choudhury to bring balance, strength and flexibility into the body and mind.

The sequence of postures impacts every part of the body in the correct order; each posture a preparation for the next, maximising oxygenation and detoxification of the entire body. Bikram Yoga is a way of bringing vitality, health and an incredible sense of wellbeing. The heat facilitates stretching, prevents injury and promotes sweating which aids detoxification. It is natural healing for the human body.

Work hard and challenge yourself - SWEAT!

Bikram Yoga is for everybody – from ages eight to eighty, of all different body shapes and sizes. A common misconception about Bikram Yoga is that you have to have a certain level of strength and flexibility in order to take the class. Flexibility is not a requirement and if you are not flexible, then you are an ideal candidate for Bikram Yoga. The object of participation in the class is to build flexibility, strength and balance and to improve your body, improve your mind and ultimately improve your life. All of these improvements come in time and that is why it is called a 'practice'.

Bikram says: “It doesn’t matter how old you are, what kind of shape you are in, whether you’ve ever done yoga before, or even if you have some kind of physical or medical challenge to deal with. With yoga, you can make wonderful change happen.”

EXPRESS BIKRAM 
60 MINUTE CLASS 

Its a Shortened version of Bikram Yoga sequence

26 postures, 2 breathing exercises,faster paced and only 1 set of some postures

Suitable for: All levels (we advise trying the 90minute class first if your new to Bikram yoga)

Perfect for: Those with a little less time – full and familiar Bikram session but in a snappy 60 minutes

 

ABSOLUTE HOT YOGA.
Practiced in a hot room around 36 to 40 degrees.
60 MINUTE & 90 MINUTE CLASS.

What is it!
Absolute Hot Yoga is known worldwide and is comparitive to Bikram yoga in that it is a set sequence of trained, Hatha yoga poses practiced in a hot room.
You practice pose-by-pose, using static poses, practiced in a mirror to study and achieve the proper alignment.

This 50 posture sequence is ideal for beginners. 
The Absolute Hot yoga class is designed to provide a full body work out.
Helps to strengthen core and  back muscles.
Improves your range of motion and flexibility.

 WARM YIN YOGA 
 
Yin Yoga is a much slower pace of yoga to the Bikram or Absolute classes, it targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and the lower back. 
A heated room is a perfect environment to practice Yin yoga as the heat allows you go deeper into your muscles. 
The poses are held for up to 5 minutes sometimes longer.
